MobileDocent is an innovative digital tour guide that gives gallery visitors access to rich multimedia content to enhance their experience of the art and objects being exhibited in museums and cultural institutions through their web-enabled mobile devices, such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry Storm or Palm Pre.

Accessed through a simple, intuitive menu, each featured work has a corresponding page, which may include an image for easy identification, information about the art and the artist in the form of text, links to other sites, images, audio clips and video.  Guests may also be given the option to comment, share their reactions and create dialog. It can also serve as an effective fund-raiser for the institution, through a built-in donation button, paid access and/or boosting ticket sales through calendar and box office links promoted on relevant MobileDocent pages.
