Accessed through simple menu ]]> MobileDocent is an innovative digital tour guide that offers guests access to rich, multimedia content related to the art and objects being exhibited in museums and cultural institutions through their web-enabled mobile devices, such as the iPhone.

Accessed through simple menu pages, each featured work has a corresponding page in MobileDocent, which may include an image of the work for easy identification, information about the art and the artist in the form of text, links to other sites, images, audio clips and video.  Guests may also be given the option to comment, share their reactions and create dialog. It can also be an effective fund-raiser for the institution, through a built-in donation button, charging for access and/or boosting ticket sales through calendar and box office links promoted on relevant MobileDocent pages.
